Baratta Design has installed and worked on over one hundred Joomla projects. Many were for developer's of Joomla website's, many are my own domains and testing areas. As of January 2009 I (Daryl Baratta) of Baratta Design no longer take on project's from other developer's of Joomla website's.

Baratta Design now only works on Joomla website's that are hosted on our server. By sticking to our  own server  there are less ' surprise's ' and unknown issues to deal with. It's impossible to know for sure how much time may be involved working on someones server and hosting account.There are numerous types of set ups and most are not prepared for the required setting for Joomla

For example I have spent many hours trying to figure out how to get SEF URL's working on many hosting account's for clients. With my own server I know how to get SEF URL's working quickly! I offer what you will need and likely more than most will use but I will not tell lies and tall stories to get your business! 

Spotting the crazy hosting offers that could not possibily be true is fairly easy. You may have noticed that some hosting providers offer hard-drive space to you on a shared server that is larger than any hard-drive you have ever seen before, 300 Gig, 400 Gigs, a 1000 Gigs or UNLIMITED. You get unlimited everything for 5 or 10 dollars a month but if they are offering dedicated servers you will notice the bandwidth and hard-drive space become limited and the price goes up by 10 or 20 times, makes no sense what-so-ever.

Most server hard-drives are still around 80 gigs and of course there are some new bigger ones. One dedicated server with an 80 gig hard-drive costs at least $100.00 a month if not $200.00.  We include automated back-ups and are more of a complete managed service . If you find a setting on our server that is not turned on and you require it for your Joomla component to work, you can be sure we will likely turn it on for you. The only thing that would stop us from adding what you need is any security issues.
