The new Teline 2 (May 2008 Joomlart) is now out and available. It contains a few new modules and changes. The JA News rotator has been re-worked and is now two modules that work together. The JA News Frontpage part is the rotator and JA News represents the  sections underneath the rotator.

 The Rotator does not have to Rotate!

The rotator now has two settings, one for the old rotator, like Teline 1 and a new layout that looks more like a News Portal. You can easily decide and change the setting to whichever one you prefer.

Teline 2 also makes use of a new module for making your menu like a magazine layout. It really does help with the organization of your site in sections and categories using the 'magazine menu' as it is called. If you install the Teline quick-start with all the demo content you will have the new menu ready for use. The quick start really speeds things up and the new menu feature will work for many different types of websites.

Teline 2 is a challenging template because it uses a component to take over Joomla's frontpage called the News Rotator. Joomlart does and will help with bugs. You should have your own membership to Joomlart if you plan on using this template.
