You don't have to be stuck with one template per menu item! MetaTemplatePro gives easy controls to switch template according to:

In normal use, MetaTemplatePro does not force page redirection - it just opens the page directly with the desired template.

Auto_archiver is a very simple plugin that automatically archives articles older than a given age, or articles coming after a given number limit of articles to keep published.
You can select the categories to treat with it.
For exemple, you can set up archiving of all articles of category A older than 6 months. Or simply, all articles of category A beyond 10 articles published.
The advantage of this method is that you do not have to specify a archive date for each content item, so you can control the archive process from the plugin interface for a given category.

My RSS Reader is a component allowing to show in a Joomla page the feeds generated by the RSS sites you select. The number of RSS item you can add is teorically infinite. The component check for new feeds at specific intervals of time configured by the administrator. When the guest user visit the feeds page the component verify if a new check must be executed and show a list of the RSS sites to check and an animated progress status of the operation. This dynamic checking use AJAX engine to perform the checks without slow down the page loading. Basically there are two strategies for undate feeds. The first simply check all the RSS sites after configured time elapsed. This method have the advantage to have your feeds list always updated with all new feeds but if you have a large number of RSS sites to check the checking operation could take some time and not all the users can have the patience to wait for. The second method allow to "distribute" the sites to check after specific number of minutes late. For example if you have a list of 15 RSS sites to check you can set the component to check 5 sites every 10 minuts. This mean after update time elapsed the component will check the first 5 sites, after 10 minutes will check other 5 sites and so on until all the RSS sites has been checked. This technique allow to have short update time but for have all RSS feeds updated need very frequently visits to the component page. Right now I thought to these two solution, if you have a better idea I'm always open to accept new suggestion for improve the component.
NOTE: If Joomla System Cache Plugin is enabled the component will not work well. The plugin cache the RSS check page that will be continuously showed until cache expire. If you experiment such problem check your cache plugin and, in case, disable it.

MySMS is standing for "Simple sms component" for Joomla. The MySMS component is now available for Joomla 1.0.x ( com_mysms-0.9.4.zip ) and for Joomla 1.5.x series ( use com_mysms-1.5.10.zip ).

Fade Gallery v 1.2.7
Plugin, Module and Component
Very light, safe, Javascript Fade gallery, that works on IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Opera etc. You can embed this extension with ease.
Useful to make your site look more dynamic.
Unlike some other galleries, there is no need to create menu items or any other elements, just type the name of the folder containing images and that's it, it will show up all images from this folder, one by one in alphabetical order. Also you may type file names separated with comma in filelist argument, to show exact images of selected folder and in exact order.
Slide show Interval and fade effect can be adjasted with three parameters: interval, fade time and fade step in miliseconds.

This flexible light weight module displays a collection of articles inside an accordion, with a smooth sliding transition when clicking or hovering over an article. Qlue accordion also has the ability to load other modules inside the article and will also have a fading effect when the accordion is sliding in or out.
For this extension to work you will require joomla 1.5 and mootools version 1.11 or above.
