Blog spam is a major issue and Blogspot is a favorite spot with spammers. Although Google could get a serious helping hand from SpamCop, they do not accept Spamcop's 'type' of report. The reason they do not accept spamcops reports is the same as some others refuse the reports.
The reports from SpamCop do not tell you who filed the claim of being spammed. The strange thing is, you don't need to know who reported it, the evidence is in the headers and source of the e-mail. It is more than enough proof to start shutting down a few thousand spam blogs, A DAY!
Plus, a real simple method of determining whether or not you are hosting a spammer is to look at there web site or blog!
