<title>Never had SEF URL Problems personally</title>
			<link>http://www.dvbaratta.com/templates-and-themes/teline-news-rotator-fix.html#comment-13</link>
<description>In my case I have never had sef url problems with the Teline assuming I am working on a server that doesn't have strange rules for the htaccess file. Like I am dealing with trying to get Godaddy working. After spending many hours working out rules that did work they wouldn't work on the next site.

After over 20 installations of Teline normally using the complete demo install I have not had issues with sef urls as a rule. The problem I had with the rotator was it showed up on more pages than just the home page. It was set correctly to only show on the home page. The solution I found or method of solving the problem was simply related to how the content was linked to. For example a customer removed all the demo links and the problem started. The solution was to link back to the content and the rotator worked fine.

I have read about some more complicated methods of fixing the code but personally I don't think its needed. Having to do more complicated fixes may be due to server set up, not sure. For me linking back to the unpublished content has always fixed the problem. Te-line is tricky to 'wrap' your head around with the rotator pictures and content beside them being your home page and the categories underneath are not really part of your home page.

Content published to your home page will show in the rotator and should jump out of the categories below. Make sure you have at least a couple of articles or content in each category you are using in the rotator, or this may create a problem. - Daryl Baratta</description>
